Motor Mount "Partial" failure or okay??
I was pretty sure my mounts had failed - but now that I have one out - I'm not so sure. Some pics of a "new" mount show nearly no gap - but I have a bit - yet when compared to a new 993 mount that I was about to put in - there doesn't seems to be much dif in the overall mounting height once you'd have it installed.
Thoughts?
A quick reply would be great - car is in pieces and I'd like to put it together again now! ; )
Thanks,
RK

It's hard to tell without a load on it. Shake it and see if you can hear fluid swishing around. If so, likely a goner. When I swapped mine out, one of them was very noisey when shaken, the other not really, but they were both used up. The Wevo's are fantastic btw.

Agreed - and I'd already got them - so in they went. No discernable difference, although changing into reverse might be a tad easier? Hard shifting to reverse (near impossible at times!) has been an oddly inconsistent problem - so I'll spend some time on the new mounts to see if that's the fix.
Otherwise - perfect fit, not a hard job and at least I know this item's ticked off the list.
