B pillar thread

Snapped my b pillar a while back - I thought I saw a thread where someone outlined with pictures the removal and replacement process, but I can't seem to find it despite repeated searches. Any help appreciated. Thanx in advance.

as a cab owner is it a matter of time?? the part is over $1200 if you don't want to get it welded.... yikes

I'd suggest periodic inspection of the critical parts- motors, cables, bolts. Make sure they are in spec.

Thank you Chimera !!

Laker asks "as a cab owner is it a matter of time??"

I don't know, but what happened with mine was one of the motors quit mid raise, torquing the top at an angle and stressing the pillar. In retrospect, I could hear the difference but didn't let off the button right away. So listen carefully each time you raise or lower the top and STOP if it sounds funny - might have saved me considerable grief.
