+1! I love the dish on that rear wheel.

Just noticed the seats? Time for a photo update of the car. Very, very nice!

Thanks - I installed Sparco Milanos and while I really liked the support, I preferred the leather so out they came. Fit great w/the Wedge Engineering adapter plates, though I had to remove the inner tilt adjustment **** to clear the tunnel.

Someone, grab these wheels - freshly finished, they are going to really pop on someone's car

Gene, I honestly wish you the best of luck with the sale. I'm even watching on eBay so I can shed a tear or two when they go.

2+ days left and 13 people watching...we will se what happens. If they don't sell, I will bolt them on my 968 cab. Thanks for looking!

Seems to be a couple of sets available for sale, 17's and 18's. Funny how many shy away from these due to perceived weight. A friend recently saw these in my shop, remarked that they looked nice, then said something about their weight, then picked one up and remarked that they weren't that heavy after all.

Gene,

Nice wheels - are the dishes polished?

Mine are unpolished, I was tempted to get the centres sprayed to suit the bodycolour but im now looking for a set of Cup 1's instead.

Interested to see what your wheels sell for, I've no idea of the value.

These are an excellent deal for the money due to the Al Reed work - I talked with the Ruf rep not long ago about some other pieces and these wheels came up in the conversation - he said they're going to re-introduce them (maybe)... but they will be approx $4,500 a set.

GLWS, surprised they've not sold.

Thanks 964TOK, at that price, or less for my 17s, I think I'd keep them even if ever could find a set of cup 1's!

The lips are polished. The centers were powder coated a gray and then the entire wheel including the barrels were powder coated clear.

Interesting that the Ruf wheels have a bad rap for excessive weight...according to this web site http://www.944racing.de/wheelweights.php. They are virtually the same weight as Cup Is, Cup IIs etc.

968 Gene,

Have these wheels found a new home yet or still available?
