Default Warning about boredom, slight OT

was bored at lunch, so went into a model showroom (the scale diecast model version, not lingerie).

Thought about buying the AutoArt 1:18 Mint Green 964 RS I had seen previously.

Ended up with this:

Wanted the Ivory or Slate Grey, but they only had the Silver 1967 911S. Amazing detail.

Wishful thinking???

Before I get flamed, do not intend to sell the 964

I can't imagine any flaming for that. John's right, a very pretty car. Very delicate. And they are a ton of fun to drive, in a different way from the 964. What you need to do is get both.......

Don't get me wrong, I meant getting flamed on the 964 board to sell it so that I can buy a SWB, which will never happen as I use the 964 as a daily.

Getting both is good, but given a barely running SWB is going for 60K Sterling in Singapore, it's not going to happen.

Someone's actually trying to sell a decent but not pristine 912 for 80K Sterling. Goes to show the craziness of the market here where there's very short supply.

You're absolutely right. There's a delicacy to it that an impact bumper or integrated bumper 964 just can't achieve.

The Mrs got me the CMC 901 in Ivory for Christmas in 2009 - superb attention to detail.
