Default New member in the market for a 964 help

I'm currently in the market for a 964/965/964 turbo but have found out that turbos are hard to come by and are more than I want to spend....so I am looking for a 964 c2 or c4, coupe, not targa nor cabrio.....

I basically need help on things to look out for, what to check for, prices I should be paying, where to find them, etc etc.

I Just started the search for my own 964....I think its such a timeless look and will remain that way. Not old enough to be "classic"....not at the age where it's just "old".....but not at the age where its "not new"....its just at the right place between the newer body and the old.

I recently got a new car ( Infiniti FX50) and decided I dont want to play with it too much, so I was figuring out a perfect car thats a mix between a classic and a true sports car...

Im looking to spend around $25k, I'm not sure if that is realistic for what I would want but I have seen a few here and there for around that.

So basically, HELP!

What I would really love is a 964/965 turbo with the widebody-looking fenders....but idk if thats even feasible for that price.

I'll be exploring the site for info.....

here's some I've come across in the past few days...

So basically I should be expecting to pay mid twenties for a decent one.
But even then, its hard to find ones that are in less-than decent condition... I'm still unsure if I want to find one to restore or one to use for the track...it really depends what I can find. I would feel bad ripping apart a clean 964 to use for the track......
help
