Nice
I have no regrets having bought a TIP. It is alot easier driving in traffic. I use my car alot more with the TIP than I would if I had to deal with shifting. Maybe its a old geezer thing

I'll bet most of us have a car, or few, that we regret selling. Circumstances change. Other doors need opening. Life happens.
I really regret letting my 1970 2.2E go.

Very true. I sold my 964 (after owning it for about 13 years), purchased a 996C4S, however after a few years realized that it was a mistake. Sold the 996 and was able to re-purchase my old 964. So glad I did. (I think it is a man's prerogative to change his mine).

I don't think you need to be apologetic about the tip.
It's great for those of us who can't shift manually in heavy traffic due to physical reasons, or those who prefer not to.
I'll say it again - the 964 Cup Tip car posted a 0.5 slower lap time over the Nordschleife than a manual. Not bad for an automatic transmission.
I use my as a daily in city traffic, and shift manually all the time. Loving it.
