TPC supercharger on a '92 C2 Cab?
Hi all
I would like 300+ HP out of my '92 C2 Cab TIP and have been considering a SC.
I have searched the forum about installing TPC supercharges on 964's but most of the posts are relatively old and a lot of them end in tears.
Are there any of you that have installed SC on your 964 and are happy with it?
Is the CR still an issue?
Did you do any other mods to accommodate the SC?
Is TPC the only supplier for SC for 964's?
thank you in advance.

i am a bit surprised that there are not more people that have gone this way to increase power. it seems like a simple fix for a reasonable price.
there should be some cars with SC's here in HK. i just need to find a few and see how they have done.

We actually have a few Turbo Caymans running in HK right now. Drop an email to info@tpcracing.com and we can set you up with a good installer.

also check out the promotive Turbo system. Basically the same price and you can upgrade it over time to over 600hp but that needs internal mods, but there is teh stage 1 that uses low boost so can leave the engine stock.

Thank you for the reply. Sounds like fun. expensive fun.
HI Casey, i am in touch with Tom and he has given me the contact here in HK. thank you very much.
I am still thinking.
I wonder if it would be better just to change the chip, change exhaust and filter.
the care would be bit more original and i worry that a supercharger may seriously affect resale value.
I just want the car to accelerate a bit better. My wife's X5 seems quicker. we will have to actually try it one day.
