Fuchs for 964?

Is there any chance I could find or use Fuchs for my 964 C4?

IMO they look great! What colour is your car?

Wow, those look great!.. how many $$$?!

silverboy 02-01-2011 09:31 AM

Nice. I saw these too but they are not cheap.

I was wondering if there existed old Fuchs that could fit hence a cheaper alternative but I guess it's a miss.

The factory fuchs do not have the correct offset for a 964. Plenty of folks build custom wheels with fuchs centers.

^^^ Yeah...correct me if I'm wrong, but provided one could find the centers at a decent price, a custom shop could build a set much cheaper.

I like Fuchs, but still looks wrong to my eyes in anything other than 911's. On the other hand, the 997 Sport Classic opened the door somewhat.

These look nice;

FYI

Apparently, at the Fuchs (original manufacturers) website, they have a survey for the forthcoming 17- and 18-inch Fuchs forged alloys. For those Fuchs fans out there, you might want to help contribute your opinions regarding size and offsets. Deadline is until August 31, 2011, so help get the word out to make it happen!

The website is in German, but Google Chrome & Internet Explorer 9 translates it to English. Also, there's an "English" button on the site as well.

Awesome! Anyone know what offsets are correct for a 964Turbo, so I can lodge my vote?

ALOHA!

I did the browser translation but am not sure what filling in my personal information is doing. Can someone who can read German explain it to me? I am willing to vote but am not sure how that personal info will be used.

I'm a big fan of the D90s but would love to have Fuchs in 17" for my car. Here's the 964 photo on the Fuchs website supplied by five-o.

IMO the Kerscher ones are the best suited to the 964, the old Fuchs are perfect for 911s but look dated on the 964. The Kerschers just have that modern flare to them that works for the 964, plus the bolts give them that speedline feel.... my 5 cents?

Just seems like the most progressive evolution in keeping withe the Fuch style.

I love the PS autoart wheels. I have been thinking about getting a set for mine.
