Speedometer, Oh Crap!
After reading the tutorial on Odometer stoppage, I bought the gears and followed the procedure....no problem...that is until I reinstall the Speedo..
Dead, Nothing, doesnt even light up (all the other instruments light)
Checked fuses per some other posts (I think #18) they are OK, Rear Wing works with manual switch
Any ideas, (I ran a meter across the posts on the back of speedo and they carry current, )
I replaced both of the odometer gears..now I have $50 into a dead instrument, could have sourced a replacement (and still might)

I want to throw this out, but the plug will go both ways.. Make sure the speedo plug on the back.. the square one not the round if yours is a tiptronic. It will plug in upside down!! look at the plug you have 4 pins on one side one on the other. Make sure it mates up to the speedo.. If you have it wrong shes dead. DONE IT By the way on the 993 wheel I did shave the back as well the reason why I did not need 993 plastic..
