Default Ticking noise - any thoughts?

Lately I've noticed a clicking, or ticking, noise under hard acceleration. I changed out to 100 Oct gas with no improvements. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Check your distributor belt. It may have broken. About 10+ years ago, mine broke while autocrossing. I didn't realize it at the time but suddenly I was getting pinging. I tried race gas without improvement. Turned out the fault was a broken distributor belt.

Valves may need adjustment.

Perhaps the Corvette gang has put something in your car that goes "boom"?
