No, it is the strat of the POC season here in CA, 1/29 is a good day for rookies, skidpad and basics then 1/30 is timed runs open to all, students with instrcutors to advanced all in different groups, usually a great day with plenty of track time, well run and safety first. All manner or Porsches will be there, I was wondering if any 964s will show up, we are the rarest breed there, hardly ever see one.

I trekked down to time trial my '92 C4 with them (with some friends from up here who were doing the races) in 2000-1. Never did get down there to run a race once I got the RSA. Even back then I think Jack from San Diego was the lone 964 contingent.

Here is something I did not think possible, stalking and then passing a ZO6.
Talk about 20 year old cars, other than the GT3 crowd or the Spec Boxsters the cars that give me the most trouble are the longhoods with 3.2 power and rs clone trim and they are wat, 37 years old?!
PS 993s.....not a factor.

I had passengers, Otto and Magnus (more on that later, Magnus drove the car too) so the best I could manage was 1:33.15 but the track was closed for rain after 3 sessions. Parade laps in the rain were fun-especially at the skidpad! The trick GT3RS was 1:29.5 so I don't feel too bad. If I lost Otto and about 20lbs myself I think a 1:30 is doable.

Great C,
That's good to hear. Frankly I think you can go faster given a dry open track, and no passanger. I'll bet you'll be in the 1:28's before you know it. I read the write up on the S Registry. Fantastic! Otto is the man and knows that track very well. The Otto line is the fastest, no doubt about it.
Thanks Well done!

Boxey you have a PM!
also, here is some in car footage of an outstanding driver here on the west coast. He drives an open wheeler and used to have a C2 race car. Click the link below & choose your track. Several of the videos are taken from his C2 race car at The Streets of Willow at Willow Springs, which is where this thread originated. He also has video from Laguna Seca, Miller Motorsports, ButtonWillow, Infineon and several others. He is so smooth and fast. His personal best time in his C2 race car is a 1:23.8 at The Streets of Willow which is Awesome driving! Enjoy!

Here are a couple of slow laps in the Radical from a couple of years ago at Thunderhill: http://www.gofastvideo.com/video/184...derhill-121208
Never have done Streets, and I know it's fun from what I hear. But it's 400 miles, and if I'm going that far I always figured I'd run the big track.

Thanks guys. Streets of Willow is certainly twisty in places. That would really focus your attention especially with the lack of reference points. It would take a bit of time to learn on the first trip there. I really like the look of Thunderhill. Looks fun and fast and some nice changes in elevation.
