I just checked the level of my gear lube and it was very low. Found lube leaking from the flange /gasket at bellows #10 in your initial post. Frustrating because I just fixed this within the past year. Guess I need to take a closer look to make sure it's not coming from a leaking line, etc., above.

Remove the side filler plug. It's full when lube comes up to the hole. If your finger is small enough, you can put it through the hole and bend it downward to see if the level is close.
