Default Your Avatar-Why did you chose it or what does it represent?

I was looking at the forum this morning and thinking (always a dangerous exercise) why did that person pick that picture for their Avatar? What is its meaning or what is the history behind it?
Some are obvious but others, well, I really wonder and there lies the reason for my question.
I will start:
My avatar was from a photograph taken on a recent drive at the creek crossing on the road to Queen Mary Falls, south of Brisbane Qld. Australia. Credit for the photograph goes to good friend, Rennlister, and fellow 964 owner "Bob in Oz".
Just as an aside, 10 minutes later I hit a kangaroo at around 100K+. It took out the left side headlight and did considerable damage to the kangaroo.

Come on people - tell us about your avatar and while you are at it include the meaning behind your user name if it has one.

Wow, good thing it was only the headlight. If it were a deer here in North Carolina it may have been the whole left front, then again, I don't really know the size comparison with a Kangaroo......

I constantly change mine, but I think that it shows my ever changing vision for the car. One day I want to turn it into a PCA club racer and strive on getting my solo license, the other, I just love driving the car throughout the week or up in the mountains.

I think the current one of the old girl Auto Xing shows the true nature of the beast, I just love the car and love driving it fast or slow, but mostly fast and on twisty roads or tracks!!!

I had a generic avatar icon for a long time. I wanted to personalize it, so a friend who's into photography volunteered to take some photos for me. This looked the best.

Just a good photo of me and the 964 turning laps at Thunderhill Raceway. Reminds me of what the car was bred to do!

While I love my 911s, and have spent 2/3 of my life owning them..........purpose built race cars are at a whole different level. Even something as low-end as the Radical makes you feel like you're several rungs up the ladder toward the real heavy hitters.

Mine symbolizes the amount of time time it has taken to get this car on the road, with kids, career changes, and house moves. When it's finally mobile, I'll change the avatar.

The user names comes from a combination of two things. Many years ago while in a paramilitary training establishment, the movie 'Stripes' with Bill Murray and the crew came out. Well if you've seen the movie you'll know where Psycho came from. Much later I was doing a bit of art work and some of my ideas where a bit crazy so I end up with what I have now.

I'm love the silhouette of a 911 and now that I have my own I've been toying with the idea of making a 1:1 scale wall panting in my garage. Sortof on your tool board you might have outlines for what tools go where....well on the wall I wanna have my 911 outlined. That's why I've made this picture (which also is my desktop at work and my avatar on here)
