Great news!
Just had a weekend in Liverpool (8 hours driving) with not a single pop out, it did it the day before the journey in a 30 min drive, strangest thing. But i will definitely look at replacing it over the winter. .

Unkle, remind me in a month or so to update this thread. I have thrashed the pants of the car, lots of 2nd gear hard acceleration then braking and not got the gear to jump out. Sod's law, it will pop out of gear today while pootling around town.
