So I am just about to embark on the stripping of the interior before the cage and carbon roof.

I saw a car yesterday that was at this stage. I can imagine the fitting of lightweight carpet to a car without the sound proofing would be much more tricky.

So if its only a 5-8kg of saving I will just spend more time in the gym but if we are talking 20kg then Im happy to undertake the hard work.

Can anyone help?

All sound proofing and the old carpet was 23 kg when I removed it. the new lightweight carpet set was 3,5 kg. So it makes a difference.
