Default Can't get it up...

...my rear spoiler that is! Both at speed or by turning the **** on the dash.

It's just come back from a service which included installing a new clutch. I noticed a 'fuse box' hanging down in front of the passenger side under the dash. I stuffed this up under something to stop it falling down.

I assume it could be a multiple of things. Any ideas?

Does your spoiler function warning light go out or stay on when you drive away first thing?

I know the spoiler function relies on speedometer data that runs through the clock. Any chance that a sensor got unplugged during your recent clutch work? I am not completely familiar with that part of the car, but I would guess a speed sensor is not working right?

My rear spoiler stopped working both on the switch and at speed and it was the spoiler control module that was faulty. It's a little grey box under the passenger seat (on a LHD car) and it is prone to bad solder joints. Might be worth taking a look or getting an auto electrics place to give it the once over before ordering a new one.

Thanks for the help guys. As the car has just come back from a service will get my mechanic to look at it. The cars returned in a worse condition that it left.
