You need to get up to speed as to what an US Cup car is...

They have a very interesting history. I'd call them the US equivalent of an RS touring (because of the reconversion to street spec).

George is correct here. in As imported (before conversion by Andial/PMNA) they came with the standard partial leather seats.
the reasoning is simple for porsche. the cars were intended to be race cars, and as such the seats were destined to be thrown out, so they included the cheapest seats they made.

I do have the Orignal Series race seats as well but they are not included with the car, as well as most of the series specific race equipment as well.

There is no other way to get a factory seam welded, G50-10 transmission (shorter gears, steel syncro), RS Motor car in the US unless you import a 964 RS and do the full Federal Conversion on it.

What's more (and I think I am not the only one here), If I were to buy an RS I'd want a touring version, since my track days are very few and far between.
The ultimate car for my needs. I'd eat and sleep in it.

EDIT: I tend to forget it is more of a collectors car. Me, I'd drive it. Not daily driver, but any trip over 50 miles, yes.

Well when you consider that an RSA is considered by many to be a collectable "special" car and they are a slightly decontented C2 with a lower stiffer suspension, 800 were made and they typically sell for mid 30's to mid 40's, this cup seems looks like a total bargain. I've been around Porsche's long enough to remember cheap speedsters, S's and RS's but no one thought they were cheap at the time. The US Carrera Cups have all the hall marks of being a very collectable car that will at some point appreciate significantly, they just need to get older.
