Default New wheels Veloce 3.6

Installed the Veloce 3.6 wheels the other day and took a few pics. Hopefully I should have the front end lowered and a better alignment along with the fabspeed cat bypass and cup pipe over the weekend.

Thanks Jason. I hope you are enjoying your car as much as I am mine....Except for the 103 degree heat here in Maryland.

Hey Ed. Is it a 3 pc wheel or just made to look like one? Are they heavy? Over all quality, what your opinion on the Veloce's?

Looks very nice man......Very beautiful....Enjoy it........Is it on the stock suspension still?

I was thinking of the HR greens later down the road.

Did you reuse the factory lugs and the factory wheel lock...? Do they work well with the Veloce's?

They are not real 3 piece wheels. They are on the heavy side ( 24.5 lbs ) but these are my street wheels with street tires so I'm not too upset. Overall quality is great and the wheels balanced out with very little weight ( from my best friend who is a tech at a Porsche dealer ). I haven't put them through the potholes of Baltimore's streets yet so we shall see how strong they are. I am very pleased with the quality of the paint and fit/finish.

The springs are actually from Eibach which were installed from the previous owner. The shocks and springs have very little miles on them so I will keep them until I decide on which coilovers I want.

The factory lugs and wheel locks work perfect on these wheels. Everything is a direct fit with no issues. I am very pleased with them.

Yeah right! I know you feel the same about the D90's as I do. The D90's will fetch a decent price in the VW crowd though. Should be enough to fund a Das Sport bolt in half cage.

Do you think 18" Speedlines with a fresh recon and painted the color of your choice is a good deal at $2500.00

Get them! If I would have seen these before I jumped the gun on the Veloce's, they would be on my car right now
