Dealer here in Tampa told me that Porsche doesn’t make colored seat belts for the 964. Any aftermarket or other model 911 belts work in my 964?

993 RS belts work... I have red ones successfully installed on mine.

I suspect any retractable belt system will work. Take a look at some of the street rod sites... they carry them in many colors, lengths etc.

Sounds like your parts guy at the dealer is a newbie and doesn't know how to read the Porsche PET for our older cars. Here's a source you can use at home. http://www.porsche.com/usa/accessori...artscatalogue/

Check illustration 812-01 in the body section. You'll find several colors listed under Carrera RS and Speedster, i.e., maritime blue, rubystone red, guards red, and speed yellow. So yes, colors are available from Porsche, but beware, you just might not like the price.

He did mention the speedster but couldnt tell me if it would work for sure and its a special order idem. No returns......

I just bought red Porsche branded ones from design911.....no affiliation etc So they are available.
