Default Wind up windows

Does anyone know if the RS window regulators are available from Porsche, I have seen the kits that FVD do, is this the only way to convert from electric to manual?
Cheers

I can't imagine why they shouldn't be - I've got the list of part numbers together and I'm considering ordering them shortly. Just not sure whether it's a worthwhile mod considering the costs. The last time I checked, the parts where cheaper from Porsche.

Thanks

I do, but they're on my home PC - I'll post them up later.

Here are the associated part numbers and quantities (from PET for 964 RS):

96454204100, 96454204200 (regulators L & R)
90154249520 x2 (seal ring for window crank)
90155289120 x2 (spacer for window crank)
95954211501 3dl x2 (window crank, black, L & R)
91154247500 x2 (conical screw for window crank)
99921801602 x12 (combination screw)

You can probably source 'generic' versions of the screws. The window cranks (the 959 #s) are rediculously expensive. Pricing for this setup according to Vertex comes out to $625. The FVD kit is about the same. Pelican is a bit more. Porsche prices (on discount like those from Sunset, etc.) may be less but I haven't checked.

Cheers, the FVD kit now seems like the best option
Thank you for your time

If you are worried about £40 window winders, don't ask the price for RS door pulls

I am going to be cremated in mine, when the time comes, so I can rationally argue that it is really a funeral plan. How grown up.
