I heard that turbo look 964 are much more nervous than narrow 964's under extreme use in track, is that true?

I don't really know anything about it's early life but it was imported into the UK in 2000 having already had the widebody conversion done. The car has no signs of accident damage anywhere so I can only conclude that a previous owner wanted the turbo look and set about having the arch extensions fitted. Knowing what I know now I actually wonder if the did it themselves in a shed somewhere.
