different d90 designs?
 

Are there different "types" of d90 rims. I have two sets and noticed the front ones are different on the inside - the spokes are hollowed out a little. Same P-car part number.

In the aerospace industry one of the criteria for 'reving' (revising) a part number is if there's been "a change to the fit, form, or function."
If not, then the part number stays the same.
That might be the case, here, for an otherwise user-transparent manufacturing/design change.

You have apparently found the ultra rare D90 "ultra Licht" version, so VERY secret that they don't even register a different part number. Hang on to these, man.
