Bilstein HD Install Question
I have bought the HD and reds. Now to find time for install. Do you order new hardware (bolt, upper mounts, etc,) or just use the existing one? I prefer to use new. Can I order OEM or is there another source for Bilstein?

The rest of the installation uses the factory parts (not Bilstein specific). I changed my upper mounts. My upper bearings felt gritty. I felt it was best to replace. I reused the rest of the hardware. I purchased my upper mounts from EBS Racing but you can get them from your favorite Porsche factory parts supplier.

Thanks,
I am struggling to find time to do this, especially since I'll be doing it on my back cause i do not have a lift. I think it is a good time to replace things to make it as smooth as possible.

I did mine without a lift too. I raised the car up on 4 tall jack stands. It was a relatively easy job. I finished in a weekend. Note: I had the engine out at the time, so it was easier to reach the rear shock upper mounts.

I just redid my suspension, i took my time because im waiting on other parts to get here for my engine, but its really straightforward and not too difficult. I used most of the old nuts and bolts but did by new hats, cause the bearings were shot. The manual does say to use new bolts and stuff though.

I hope the link to PET works. The relevant illustraions are 402-00 and 502-00 in front and rear axle sections. I have decided to replace everything.

Front
The support mount on the 93 MY looks like the one on the left (#2). Question is, do I need the rubber stop (# 5) and concave washers (#4 and #7)? I think that Bilstein has inner bump stop, but I think I need these washers.
Rear
The support mount on the 93 MY looks like the one on the right (#10). Question is, do I need the items #4 through #8 and # 11?
BTW, Going with H&R sways and Tarret drop links. Anyone has experience with using them with HD/reds combo?
Help is appreciated.

You do not need the stop or the boot.
What I did get all new was all the plastic wire mount/clips, which there is 3 per side and they were not that expensive. I also had to replace the front brake lines which were frozen - also not terrible expensive - about a $100 for the lines and all the mount/clips. 21,11,12
I had to get some stright line and bend it up myself as a tempory fix until the factory ones show up, and I got some SS hoses that I will do when those lines come in.
