Side Repeater hanging off
Can anyone recommend a way of securing my side repeater to the body work.
The wind pressure blows it off and every time I get into the car I have to stick it back on. It seems to have a little hook on it but this doesn't hold it and the glue is very soft.
Any suggestions
Here's a shot from my phone.

There is no glue used for the side repeaters, it's just a clip. It sounds like the clip on yours has become tired (or, even broken). The solution is just to buy a new pair.

The rubber seal is slightly sticky, but when the clip's broken, there's nothing you can do short of super glueing it to the car, which I suggest you don't.
Happened to me. Just buy a new repeater, they're not expensive.

Just to let you know,
The side repeater is the same as a mk2 vw golf/rabbit so you can buy it cheaper from vw.
I would look on the famous auction site *bay and you'll get them cheap as chips.
Just don't get tempted to put some strange coloured ones on as I have seen blue ones on a white Porsche looked crap!!!!!!!!!!!! imho.

In the short term try some blue tack which will secure it but which won't set hard.

I used chewing gum for about a year. It worked in winter - but in summer the thing would come loose again. Replaced it with a new one last year. I ordered one from Pelican Parts - sent it to me very quickly - and easy to install and very cheap. They are like USD$14 - about the cost of a rice box with bbq pork and suckling pig. I miss Hongkas.

Thanks, I might try the blue tack until get the others arrive. I have seen oval shaped ones as well that I think suit the curves of a 911 better. Anyone know where you can get these? And are they easy to fit and where does one get this special type of sealer from. It is softer than the normal.
Thanks

Tony, my repeater was hanging off due to too much "crap" behind the securing hole. The lip on the repeater just would not hold the edge. The panel had to come off to fix this hidden issue.

Al, I notice that when people do pass me (very rare of course) they seem stare at the thing flapping in the wind. No very cool. Am using blue tak at the moment. T
