I heard someone mention using a leather dye. Has anyone done this . Sorry if this is a old topic new to forum .

I dyed my steering wheel from brown to black using "Surflex" from Color-Plus.

I did this about three years ago (~ 10k mi) and it has held up quite well.

Ask for Joanne, she knows Porsche colors or can color match if you send her a sample.

I redyed mine with black leatherique dye. It came out better looking than it was for sure, but the dye was just a wee bit too shiney for me.
