Does anybody know if the front bonnet pull lever is the same as the one on a 993?? (I dont anyone with a 993 to look)

I am having such a problem trying to get hold of one since mine snapped a few weeks back, from both dealers and dismantlers.

Failing that, anyone know any dealers in other countrys that ship to the UK??

Looking on PET it shows a different part number for the 993 when compared to the 964 part so, on the face of it I'd guess they're different.

I know the design of the whole assembly was changed at some way through the 964 life because when I bought a new cover I found that it wouldn't fit and had to buy the whole housing. Any Porsche dealer will be able to tell you if the part is in stock at Reading or the factory. The part number for the 964 part is 964.538.703.01 although there is a chance it may have been updated with the changed design.

The 993 part is p/n 993.538.071.01 if that helps.
