Moving suspension to outer mounting point

I am contemplating moving the front suspension to the outer mounting points but with my car being a C4 this is not a simple switch. I am trying to put together a list of parts that I would need so what is required apart from track rods and drive shafts? Would I need the front sway bar from a 964 anniversary or a turbo as well?

Just out of curiosity, what is the advantage to doing this? Doesn't it limit the width of tire you can run?

I have a wide body car that was done as a conversion so with the suspension mounted in the narrow body mountings I have to use large spacers on the front in order to fill the arches correctly. I would only change the front suspension as the turbo rear trailing arms are hugely expensive.

a lot of w/b guys like the n/b trailing arms as it gives more flexibility to fit wide wheels, same in front by the way
