Default Weight of Sport Classic II Wheels

I really like the looks of the Sport Classic II wheels but I've heard the 18" Sport Classic II's are very heavy for our cars. Are they heavy compared to most 18" wheels? Does anyone know the weight of an 18" set vs. the weight of a 17" set? I would consider either size depending on the weight and price...

Bueller? Bueller?

Anyone have any experience with these wheels or this company?

I emailed them about the weight and they said the wheels are about 27 lbs each. I wonder how this compares to the original BBS wheels?

Go for it. They meet DOT and TUV requirements. The weight is typical for replicas--I'm guessing the Factory version is only a few lbs less per wheel.

I think "mesh" wheels look great on a darker car--blues, blacks--and the price is pretty sweet for a new set of rims. Sure, you could probably get a very nice set of used Porsche wheels but we're talking twice as much money and they would have to come off of a Boxster to ensure the correct rear offset.

Pull the trigger!

Very tempting Joey...I may just do it! I'll post pictures once I've chosen a set.

Thanks for the links Voodoo...that's exactly what I was looking for!
