Help! Another door locking question...
I made a lot of progress yesterday while waiting on new valves and guides to be shipped.
1. Got the passenger window to work with no new parts (yeah!), guess it was just jammed.
2. Replaced the rear wiper arm. Thanks to another Rennlister for cheap parts. I have the good motor and interior mechanism left over...Anyone?
3. Got the passenger door lock to work. I had bought used door button operators, but found that it was just one of the ball connectors, which I scavenged off the purchased operators (yeah again!) Have them left over...Anyone?
I still have a problem with the driver door lock. Neither the power locks nor the mechanical locking mechanism can be operated by the key in driver door lock. Key seems to almost catch re: the mechanical aspect of the lock, but won't open or lock it completely. Get no response re: the power locks. All other functions normal. Can anyone simplify a diagnosis for me?
