In case you didn't get an email from Perfect Power, the braces are now ready for shipping. So if you want one you'll need to contact Beth at perfectpowerinc@gmail.com and order one. Their phone number is 847-465-8837.

We just received our PP strut braces downunder today
But...there seems to be a fitment issue, and in particular, the PP car fouls the fuel tank sender unit, which is quite bulky:
The VDO sender unit attaches to the fuel tank via a clamp. But in our case, it looks like this is never going to work.
Is there a difference between LHD and RHD fuel tanks?

Hey Kev;
This is a LHD ROW RS with a small fuel tank:

Ahh, I see.
Well it looks like the US tank has the same bulky sender box as the aussie one, but there is room to rotate the box around to point towards the firewall, and so it's out of the way of the strut brace. On a RHD tank, you have that breather/expansion tank behind the sender, which means you can't do the same trick.
I do notice that on BillV's pic of that RHD tank with the strut brace, the sender box seems to have been relocated to a spot behind the strut...I think that's along the lines of what we'll have to do.

Exactly, As Jetta's picture shows, if the fuel sender gets in the way, on this (LHD) side of the tank, we have the ability to rotate the sender 180 degrees out of the PP strut brace's way
