Where : Rear Blower motor Lube DIY thread
I know I saw a post here on Rennlist about lubing/opening and or replacing the motor in the engine compartment for the heater blower...
I searched and searched but couldn't find it...
Anyone ... ?
I have my screachy blower motor out of the car and apart in the kitchen.
Thanks

That was the thread, Thanks Rob and Dave!
For now I gave it a little lubrication and put it back in place. It's a bit noisy but not screaching.
I have had the fuse pulled for the last year or so because it was so loud.
I'm hoping that it I will now be able to get warm air to the lower dash to keep my toes warm.
The cabin and upper vents flow plenty of air even without the engine fan working, but I don't get any air movement from under the dash (thus chilly toes).
It was my understanding that the engine blower fan needs to be running to get the lower dash fans to turn on?
I will take it for a drive soon and see if that is the case or not.

Hey, Rob! Yup. We're sleeping through and Nora is doing very well, thanks.
I finally (FINALLY) got my car back on the road. I took it up to Dan Jacobs at Hairy Dog and got the oil line replaced. I couldn't get the muffler bolts loose. Turns out I needed a clutch, too, but that's another story.
I lost five months in the process. That's what, like 3600 driving hours I'll never get back! :-)
And, that lapse kept me away from here as it was just too depressing seeing all the fun and having my car up on stands. I just don't know how folks put 'em up for winter.
Well, good to be back. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Spare blower
Thought I was having a problem with mine and turned out to be a resister. I bought one on ebay a couple of years ago and never put it in. Did connect it to check it and it was working perfectly. Paid 75.00 but will take a reasonable offer if any one of you can use it. Donor car was a 91 C2. I'll be sell the car soon so I know I won't need it. Email me if interested.
