Default Winter Projects?

Anyone have anything planned this winter?

I am going to get the car up the workshop, glass out, weld in the front of the cage, strip the front bumper, wings off to remove the rest of the AC items steam clean and wax front tub, sideskirts off to clean up and wax, sort the odd rust spot on the scuttle, replace windscreen, perspex the rear windows, grp front wings if affordable, consider widebody arches, and then put it all back together...

how about you?

Replace Steering Rack
Install 993 MC
Install front and rear 993 NB Calipers
Replace door switches
Install Recaro PP seats
Tighten connections at oil cooler or replace long oil lines

Convince my wife that doing all this is not keeping me from finishing the basement in a timely manner!

Well, tried to fix oil leak issues, but looks like I will have to drop the engine as the joint from the cylinders to the engine case are leaking pretty bad. I am going to have it out for a while so I will replace a lot of stuff inside with more high performance pieces. wish me luck

It just sucks that I have to drain all 9 quarts of brad penn I just put in there

Pull motor and inspect valve guide wear. Possible top end. Check seals, refinish engine bay and full service. R&I front suspension and revalve. Replace carpet and door cards. Try to find seats that will allow the console to be reinstalled. Chase battery draw.

Paint and install new (to me) 3.8 RS Tail/wing (nice and light)
Paint and install new front spoiler lip
Install RS Sways (if I can find some)
Finish off interior with track mats
Install TraqMate

Fix trailer so the rattling ramps don't drive me crazy anymore!!

- Fit NB rear trailing arms and then fit rebuilt rear wheels (which will be 11J +14)
- Install Rennline engine carrier brace and RS engine mounts
- Convert C4 to C2

Got all the bits just need to find the time

Maybe strip the rear seats, and carpet the back, refit the rear cards to fit accordingly with rear cage.

Look to find if not trim-up a set of RS doorcards, would love to alcantar the front steering wheel, and possibly change the seatbelts for some RS coloured ones.

Retrace some factory decals from Porsche.

Look for some BBS Mags like urs Demon;-)

Detail my engine bay, as a bit dirty after coming back from bodyshop.

Just adjusted my Recaro Poles to sit lower at last!

........am sure theres more!

Yup driveshafts are different and I got those too I don't intend to sell any of my bits in case I decide to sell the car since I would then put the car back to standard.
