I would guess that the glove box lid & lower trim are the same parts that are used in a G50 non-airbag 3.2 Carrera, in fact the lid may be the same as all 911SC, turbo & Carrera models.

The reassembly pics are the best so far. Thanks for taking the time to snap them

p.s. Does the cup use C2 front drop links? They look a but different to the RS ones, from what I can see in the pics.

I have a 964 cup and have a question about the cage. Most cages that I have seen have a cross bar directly under the dash transversing the width of the car. The 964 cups do not have one. This is very clear from your picture in post #145. Do you know why. Is it not needed?

Can't say structurally whether it is needed or not, however the homologation papers for the Cup & RS Clubsport don't have this nor the second doorbar which was later used on the RSR & retro-fitted to a lot of Cup cars.

Sorry for the lack of build photos, my only excuse is that I have been busy finishing off the latest engine build for Singer which had a deadline to be in a crate by Monday.

Here are some photos from Tuesday:

(note that the 1990 Cup does not have the ABS ecu relocate bracket up on the inside of the chassis leg)

Friday's child is full of fun....

Closure time for Kermit, Marc's fitted the doors and is working on the internals before getting to grips with the engine lid. I'm in work tomorrow finishing off the engine preparation & will take some more pictures on my way through the shop.

More photos from this week's assembly line; Marc has fitted the rear & quarter windows, assembled the majority of the dash and fitted the door internals ready for frames & glass. All the door locks and mechanisms were stripped, cleaned and greased before assembly to ensure that everything on the car works perfectly when it is finished as there's nothing worse than a sticking door lock.
