Friday folley
well, I think I may have found a spot to take some pics of the car. Going to try that tomorrow morning. Winter will be here before ya know it and then the car will sit in the garage.
Not much else- what have you got planned this weekend?

I don't think I will be able to do much with the cars... I did fix the fuel pump on the '83 a couple of days ago.
Wife traveling next week to attend a childhood girlfriend's wedding... so we are celebrating Thanks Giving this Sunday. Meaning that any free time will be spent cleaning the house, running around for groceries, cooking, and eating...

Re Adams, we're to the third/last disk.
The 2nd disk ended with Abigail not taking John's sitting down funk (over his dawning burdens of a just-won Presidency) by saying flinty, "Get up, John!" - and he wearily hauls himself up!
(Now, gf says that to me from time to time.)
It is a good series. I'm more and more a Washington admirer.

I am thinking about starting a new project! I am really excited about it... but it means I'll need to find a few 356 parts to get it done. Hopefully I'll have it ready for a Christmas present for my wife!

Looks like I will be ordering John Adams from Netflix. If it has Jefferson is must be good.
I will be fighting with leaves again and maybe go to a gun show. Perhaps combine the two and just shoot up the backyard. No other set soild plans for the weekend.

I've only seen resuscitating something like that done on The X-Files.
(...and even there, it pretty much always ended badly... with Mulder yelling things, like, "Skully - run!")

Saturday if forecast to a nice, sunny day, so I will be forced to complete my pre-winter outside chores - clean out gutters on house and garage (trees are growing in them...), shovel/grade the gravel in the driveway so that it will not be so easy for the local villageidiot to throw all of my gravel into the yard when he runs his snowplow through it later this winter, clean up dead plants, put out some deer repellent so they don't eat all of my plants (they only have 5,000 acres to graze on, but like my landscaping much better).
Then, perhaps on Sunday, I can spend some time on my climate control - it is acting quite goofy - rear fan cycles on high only, right heat servo works sporadically, left fan operates sometime, defrost comes out the left side most of the time only but sometimes comes out both sides. .... etc. And all of these things seem to have started all at once. Need to clean ISV also - sometimes is hard to start because it will not quickly respond to idle. And, I need to order some stuff in preparation for a valve adjustment/oil change/plug change/etc. in a few weeks, assuming I stop all of this dang business travel.

Yes, and if I read this correctly, they were able to restart the diesel engine after just a little bit of work...

I have heard of barn finds but those mud finds are great. That 356 though, wow I have to agree with Hawk that find will be a bottom less pit, rewarding as all get out, but hope you have deep pockets.
This weekend is going to be a sad one me thinks as the car will be winterized.
Cheers
