Rust on my Trailing Arm Mounts!!!
After a gap of a few years I'm now back in a Porsche again. A 1990 C2 Coupe manual in Grand Prix White. Thats the good news!
The bad news, is that while changing wheels, I've just noticed the unwelcome sight of some significant paint loss & corrosion to both rear mountings.
Anyone else had this?
I think its just surface rust, but it must have been developing for some time by the look of it (thanks to salty UK roads). First thoughts are to treat it with POR-15...any other ideas??

Yes, I am (a bit) worried!!
And the RHS is going to be hard to treat properly, without taking the oil tank out - which I don't want to do.
Has no-one else had this??
- anyone know what the little plastic cap next to the trailing arm is for?
