Default Mystery engine electrical connection

Hi folks,
I noticed an electrical connection dangling around in the engine compartment. It is in the direction of the left rear shock mount / coils. It is slightly heat deformed and looks like it hasn't been connected in a while. Anyone know what it is or where it should go?

This is a '91 C4 Cab -

Nick - Do you have the blower removed for maintenance or is it always removed? That looks like the connector to the temp sensor that's on the blower connection tube.

Found it - the other end was hiding behind the green connection seen in the pic. Not sure what this connection was for, but it wouldn't run without it. See here -

Green is knock sensor, white is cylinder head temperature and black is flywheel speed sensor.
