you could try the uber-dredger, Crazedlist.org. (ability to search all the freebie Craigslists in the US)

Your post also had me thinking, "what? - NO! - we've got few enough here, already! Please don't take any!"
(Kinda like George C. Scott's Strangelove general's recoil over bringing the russian ambasador into the 'war room': "-but, but... he'll see the Big Board!"

Good luck.

elbeee964, thanks - I know, scarfing 911's again out the US. Problem is most Euro 911's are shot, mostly rust. I have to say 964 hold their price well in the US I guess because the mileage on most is tiny!

Great great film! "gentlemen you cant fight in here its a war room" cant really get any better!

You can try www.cars.com and www.vehix.com.

Also this forum and Pelican are pretty good also because you will probably have a more fanatical owner.

You may want to try this link as well... It lists the high-end US & Canadian dealerships that specialize in pre-owned porsche...

Good luck on the purchase. I purchased my RSA in Los Angeles last year, sight unseen and imported it to Ireland. I had a great experience:

- Found the car on Pelican Parts
- Got the full service history sent to me
- Ran the carfax (even though there are no guarantees)
- Had a full PPI with compression, leak down and paint gauge evaluation done at a good independent shop, recommended by the local Porsche Club chapter
- Had a great individual as a seller
- Arranged for shipping of the car by 20"container (Hapag Lloyd) myself, including complete insurance coverage
