964 RUF Conversion in Dallas, TX
I am thinking of sending my 90 964 convertible to RUF for a conversion. Has anyone here ever done the conversion with RUF in Dallas? If so, what was your experience and were you satisfied? Do you have a contact?
Thanks, Carmelo |
I thought Wayne and crew had lost, or are losing, their "official" affiliation with Ruf. I'd heard that the situation was devolving into a legal pissing contest.
Correct if this is disinformation. |
I have been dealing with Ruf since shortly after they opened and with Wayne the entire time. They have always been great! I was headed towards a full RCT Evo conversion on my 1990 C2 until exchange rates changed my mind. I had everything done except the engine and transmission. I had the brakes and suspension shipped to me and installed by my local mechanic because I am in Florida and was doing it in stages. I would call Wayne and have a chat. He has a RCT Evo of his own. Good luck. It is a pretty cool conversion!
