Nice job. That's what I call a "brave" colour for the street. It will no doubt attract a great deal of attention. But I lke the colour- especially for a track car.

Couple of comments:
Did you stick with the stock 964 oil pump?
Why didn't you use a 993 m/c with that brake set up?

I also wonder why you used a basically pretty good 964 as a donor car but I'm sure you had your reasons. Look forward to more photos as the car progresses.

I don't get this... Women just don't like the color! The first time my girlfriend sees the car in the garage, she goes "It's so... orange..." . Way to deflate the balloon sweetheart... ha ha ha!

- Yes, OEM 964 oil pump. Need to check, but if I recall correctly, we went this route because the 3.8 RS came with the same pump from the factory

- It'll come later, I'm already 1 size up from the 964 C2 MC with the C4's MC, but the 993 CRS MC is the goal... buying that requires more moolah. Also, I had thought about upgrading the entire system to 993 spec, but that introduces ABD into the mix. This will end up somewhat of a hybrid between a 964 C2 (ABS brain), 964 C4 (hydraulic system), 944T (ABS wiring harness) and 993 CRS (MC).

- Because of Singapore's car ownership regime, it's very difficult to 1) find a 964 (I looked for 5 years), and 2) I wanted an accident free starting point

WEll, my wife doesn't drive the 964 anyway, so the only thing that would matter is what color the cup holders are

Early week installment...

Weight loss and minimal bends was the theme behind my exhaust choice. That and the fact that Fabspeed was a having a GB on their full exhaust system made it a difficult to turn down choice.

Here is the custom exhaust I used to have on the car:


Relatively straight forward, we'll have to do some dyno tests on this when I get around to it...


Ugly, but definitely a subscriber of the KISS philosophy...
