Sunroof is Broken
So my sunroof stopped working last night. I searched the forums, found the link to the Pelican walked through and dismantled the whole sunroof assembly. Looks like the cables detached from the brackets the connect the cable to the sunroof. I want to thank everyone who has previously posted on this topic for their help but I still have a few questions:
1) The cables slid from their mounting point on the brackets (that connect the cable to the sunroof) is this the common place for failure? If not, can this be fixed without buying new cables?
2) I did not pay close enough attention during removal and am a little confused as to where the "groove" in the front bracket (that bolts to the sunroof) sits. Should the groove be on the top rail of where the headliner sits?
3) Does anyone have an extra set of cables they are selling or a cheap source to buy them?
4) What kind of grease should I use on the cables?
Thanks!
