New Shoes
Remember when you were young, say about 10 years old, and you got a new pair of PF Flyers. Remember how much faster the new shoes felt? How much higher you could jump? Leaping across the stream was easier than ever.
Remember?
That is the feeling I had when I picked up my car from service this weekend. Just a few simple items made all the difference in the world: recharge the AC, fixed the sunroof seal, and a new set of front tires to replace the old flat spotted ones.
Now the car is cooler, quieter, vibration free and more sure footed. The natural comfortable speed was found in 5th gear at 4200rpm.
Before the maintenance I was questioning whether I actually enjoyed owning the car or just the thought of owning the car. No more doubts.
