Woke up this morning to see that some little bastards have walked up our street last night and kicked the pavement side wing mirrors off all the cars.

If I had been parking downhill, it would have just closed in. As I was parking up hill, it was kicked clean off.





Looks like if I can get the part circled in green, I can put it back on myself, and then get the scratch sorted at a later date.

Any one any ideas of the part number or where I could get it from?

If I remember right, there is a similar part on the earlier flag mirrors. Perhaps that hook part is interchangeable.

I'm not over fussed about mine as it's easily fixed. But my Wife's Golf needs a new wing mirror as it has totally snapped off.

My neighbour chased a couple of kids away last week with his rottweiler as they were spitting on every car on the street as they walked passed. Probably same little *******.

Thing is, if I caught them at it, I'd probably end up getting banged up for assaulting a couple of minors. If they get caught doing it, nothing would happen. I had a little fiesta nicked when I was a student. They caught the lads red handed and they got a £40 fine.

This country has a lot wrong with the way offenders are treated. "Oh, the prisons are overcrowded, lets just tag them and rehabilitate them". If only we leaved in a prefect world.

Don't even get me started.

That truly sucks, and I, for one, speak from experience, as one night in San Francisco the entire block of cars parked on our street had the driver's side mirrors knocked off.
