Monday Morning

Well, I had the Porsche parked outside for 24 hrs- in the rain. The seals on both driver and passenger need replacing. Just a bit of water, but enough to be irritating. The car beaded up nicely though from the last waxing it got. I'll share why the car sits out: I do photography on the side to make some extra $$. My wife occasionally poses for me, and she said she would this weekend. I had stuff set up Saturday for paying customers, then left it up for her shoot Sunday. Here's a sample. Hopefully the mods don't mind it being here:

Knock out!!! Get those weathersrips replaced quick, even if your baby won't ever be in the rain again. I just redid the strips on the bottom edge of the windows. One was short by about 1/2". That space took out a window switch, the diode in the door lock pull and affected the cross over in the component speakers. Hawk's the man!!!!!

I've looked at the photo quite carefully and I can't even see the weather strips that need replacing...

I got my knickers in a twist this weekend too (best I can do with your theme Hawk ;)) as I set about replacing the dizzy caps and rotors. To (para)quote Elbee "it sure is busy at the dizzy picnic table with all those wires" :p

Did my caps need replacing....well judge for yourselves? :icon107:

And while I was in there (well many of us use that excuse anyway ;)) I thought I might aswell pull the left inlet and give it a good clean up.

Oh... and I finally got the Rennline gusset plate welded on to the engine carrier and powder coated :bigbye:

I learned that replacing the oil line from the thermostat to the oil filter console can be a real PITA!! I even resorted to using a sawsall at one point and its still not done. I still need to replace a few more hoses down there.

Great! Hawk, there's a new day tomorrow too! You do nice work, thanks!

I'll have to pace myself, so I'm not tossed over to General discussion. I'm so proud of my wife. She's not fond of the camera, but she's made great strides when we shoot.
