Default Off topic - For those suffering extreme cold

I thought I would share the email below with people where Koala's are not so common. Also with those suffering through the northern winter.
regards Ken

It has been so hot in South Australia for over a week...40+ degrees Celsius everyday, very dry also.
A guy at work lives at Maude. His wife sent him these photos of a little Koala which just walked into the back porch looking for a bit of heat relief.
She filled up a bucket and this is what happened!

Slow roasted rather than fried esperially if you get a young one.
Have you heard about Australians? we are the only country that eats the animals on their Coat of Arms.

Default I call him, Bill

I feed my birds, during the harsh midwest winter. A 'possum comes in daily
to feed on the seeds. Yesterday, I scritched him on the head, as he trembled.
Moved to the back of his ears, quieted down. A cutey. I can't resist.

In Canada this would be difficult. We don't have lions and unicorns don't exist

How about this for relief from the heat?

No animals in that neighbourhood (humans a rarity as well when temps drop below -30 degC or so). It's called hibernation.

Actually, looks familiar....a Montreal suburb?

Gotta be tough carrying your coat into summer. (even if it's your light one.)
Cute lil' fella.
Thanks.
