Glen sold his white 94 non-sunroof RSA with 50K-ish miles last year for mid 30's I think. Had the back seat. Beautiful car. Where were you then? He advertised it on rennlist. Of course, if it were for sale now, you'd be saying it was overpriced...

If I recall correctly, I spoke with a guy about a year ago with a similar sounding car. I believe it had been in a wreck or something along the lines of that. Hench 35K a year ago. It may not be the same car though.

RS america is for Sale
Ok I have decided to go ahead and sell this fine beautiful Porsche. I am asking for $35,000 with the BBS RSGT wheels and Michelin PS2 tires or $32,000 without I have recently spent over $8,000 dollars on this car getting it back to its former Glory. I have another Car in Mind and would love to see this go quick.

I had a few calls about the car but the mileage seemed to put them off is 112,000 really that much for this, it is 15 years old?? I figured that I could let it go for $30,000 but I am not going to give it away.

I don't think the mileage is nearly as important as the maintenance. It's been said many times before, but I'd rather have a car with higher miles and top notch maintenance rather than a low mileage car that has not been maintained due to lack of use. My RSA has 150K miles on it, but it got a full engine rebuild (with upgrades!) at about 142K.

A year ago that car would sell over-night at the price you are thinking about. I am not aware of any recent sales, so it is difficult to say what the market is since the S&P tanked. Good news is there will never be a better time to buy.

BTW, I did just sell mine three weeks ago through RSA.net. It was for sale for 4 months- 36k miles, nicely upgraded with a spare set of Fikse wheels with R compounds and new Pagid brake pads for 95% of the ask price. Lots of early tire kickers wasted some time when it first went up for sale, but I believe that there are a few RSA buyers looking for the right car. The market for average or some damage history RSA's will be soft right now.
