Sold the C2 :/
So after months of contemplation, I sold the C2 and picked up a loaded IS 350. Was thinking 335i, but in the end I preferred the IS. I am keeping the Evo for it's AWD in slippery weather and its utility factor. (Not to mention the Evo has 70k miles and not one single problem so far.)
I plan on getting another Porsche some time soon (when I get back to CA), but I wanted something different for a change. The IS is 3500 pounds, so it's a pig relative to what I usually drive, but it does well. I already ordered an Eibach anti-roll bar kit and Pro-kit springs to tighten it up, so once those are installed I should be more comfortable with it.
I'll definitely still be around here..
Who thinks I'm crazy?
Might I also add that this is my first time without a German car. That's weird.

I can't believe that you now have two jap cars. no worries about breakdowns, no oil leaks, cheap parts.
What were you thinking? What will you do with all your free time now?
good luck with the IS.

I don't think you're crazy.
You've opted for more comfort and reliability.
Given up a leettle performance, sharpness and depreciation.
But, hey -- there's no free lunch.
Don't toast those new brakes (or forget to bring her back) when you regain your jones for dry sump engines and nice big brakes. Aloha.
oh -- did you find a good home for your white?
