I am looking to buy a 964 c2 coupe 5spd in the near future, preferably a 92 or 93 with LSD if anyone is thinking about selling.

Thank you,

I've been kicking around the idea of selling my 92' C2 and would prefer to see it go to fellow Rennlister/enthusiast.

Ken, Your car is gorgeous. I am just looking for a lighter color like white or silver because of the heat in Miami.
Anyone have any other leads?

Hey the C2 Ilko mentioned is mine, and it's for sale. I really need to formally post it.

PM me if you interested.

If you don't mind me piggy backing this, but I am also looking for a 964 C2, color wise I don't care. I have been searching on rennlist, pelican, autotrader, cars etc. If anyone knows of a car that is not listed online or a dealership please let me know.
Thanks,
Brandon

It may be a stupid question but whats so special about the 92s and 93s aside from the head gasket issues in earlier models?

Here is one I love.

Full disclosure:

Yes I know Tim Holt and have sold him a car in the past.

No I am not affiliated with him or his business in anyway

No I don’t make a dime or have any soft money deals with Tim

IMO Tim is a straight shooter in a business that has a lot of crooks.

I really dig this car its got the options I would have ordered and I like the color from the pictures. I have not seen it in person.

Take a look at the 911 Companion by Bentleys for the 964. I was amazed at all of the improvements made for MY 92-94. Before I got a copy, the shop guys all said the same thing "Ron, if you are going to buy a C2, make sure it's a 92+" and once I read the long list, I understood why.

I think I saw a post around here that listed the changes...

Plastic intake manifold, factory-rolled front fenders, flattened rear oil lines, 4 piston rear calipers, LUK flywheel although most have been replaced by now, the list goes on but those are the main ones...
