993 Cup wheels on 964
I tried searching, I found lots of threads but not the answer (my fault).
Will Cup wheels from a 993 fit my 1989 964 Carrera 4? Are the 993 Cup wheels the Cup II's and the 964 Cup's the Cup I's?
Edit: I know my answer is in here: https://rennlist.com/forums/928-forum/37232-help-my-hood-is-stuck-closed.html but I am still confused.

Yes.
964's (C2 or C4) can use same 17" factory/OEM wheels as:
993
996
986 (Boxster)
1987 and later 944 based models, 951 (944 Turbo), S2 and 968
I'm not positive but pretty sure can also use:
Cayman 17's
I know from personal experience. I currently run 17" "sport classic" wheels (these ware "techquipment" line from approx 1998 era) for summer on my 964 C4, as well as OEM 17" 993 Cup II's for track use.

Thanks, I'm actually running Sport Classic wheels right now, I was going to use them for winter wheels and get the Cup wheels for summer.

I have them - I think they are CUP II. No problem using them but you will need a spacer to prevent rubbing.
In the front they will rub at lock and the rears will rub on the oil lines. 1/4 spacers will fix them both -

There is nothing wrong with spacers, they fit with the existing studs. The rear oil lines will flatten without spacers -
In any case, thats what you need to do if you want to use those wheels. The off set is not the same as the stock 964 rims.

That is a very clean looking car. Who's rear wing is that? Big Reds or 993 brakes up front? Any more pics?

Mitch,
The brakes are Big Reds, the wing is from Getty, but it is just an RSA replica which is the same from whatever vendor you may choose. Here is a couple of more shots and thanks for the kind words.

Thanks for the compliment. The splitter came from TRE in Los Angeles.
Thanks, the door handles are the stockers painted to give a more updated look. I think it is a good compromise compared to installing 993 handles which I have heard is not all that simple. Same updated look idea for the bumper smile. I did that over two years ago and it is holding up very well. I think that it is not that susceptible to the ravages of rocks and debris as some of the other frontal surfaces so it is O.K. I did the lower rear bumper and rockers too and so far everything is continuing to look good.
