Wheel bearing
Has anyone experience of a front wheel bearing failing/noisy?
I'm try to track down a vibration that's from the front.. Nothing until you get to 65-70mph then speed related vibration.

My experience with wheel bearings is they don't cause vibration. If one is bad, you will get a whining noise which will get louder or softer when you turn in one direction. Also, you should jack up the front, grab the wheel on the top and bottom and see if you can move it. If the bearing is loose or bad, it will move slightly. The most likely cause is a tire which is out of balance or not round.

I have had numerous wheel bearings go bad, but never a vibration. always a grinding or whining noise that would varying with the rotational speed of the offending wheel. Putting weight on the bad corner would make the sound more loud. Vibration is likely from an unbalanced rotating mass if it is happening in a straight line while not under braking.
