Default Blowing fuses

I have a 90 C4 and I keep blowing fuses for the heater control panel (fan speed, a/c and defroster) As soon as I turn on the defroster the fuse blows, also when the fan is turned all the way on. Any ideas?
Thanks

My other guess would be an issue with one of the servos. Would a servo being out of adjustment cause a blown fuse? For example, if the servo for the demister was poorly adjusted and when it tried to turn the demister on it would close before the servo was fully extended. Would that blow a fuse? Worth looking at as the servos are easy to see. Search for heater servo.

BTW, welcome to Rennlist. Post a picture of your car or you will be harassed.

Mine kept blowing the rear blower fuse and I kept replacing it until my luck ran out. Instead of blowing one fuse melted the entire fuse holder. I guess I was lucky it didn't start a fire. Probably a faulty fuse but statistically the more fuses you use the more chance of a faulty one. My problem was a worn out motor bearing causing a short.

Mine did this, and it was traced to a bad fan in the front. Kept blowing the fuse repeatedly, usually after working very briefly.
